How to dress for a wedding?
I’m going to a summer wedding tomorrow. It has been so difficult to decide what to wear for this wedding, especially when you can’t wear black. I’m quite sure I’m not the only one who find that limitation hard.
I find it difficult to wear too colorful outfits – you may have noticed. It looks great for other women, it’s just not for me.
I’ve been looking at, and trying on so many gorgeous dresses ever since I got the invitation. The dress code is not long dresses so the possibilities are endless – except for the no-black-part.
Back in February I went for a weekendtrip to Puerto Banus in Spain, where I found this beautiful blue and nude lace dress. It’s from Zara, so it wasn’t expensive. So I bought it just to be on the safe side, it I didn’t find anything better.
I have and I haven’t. I’ve found a lot of very expensive dresses, (like this one from Chloé ) too expensive for me. I also considered wearing a suit/smoking like these.
Now I’m very happy that I did buy this dress so early on in my dress hunt. I think the lace looks very exquisite and I love the dark blue color. It goes well with my blue eyes and blond hair.
I’ll wear it with gold shoes, gold accessories, gold nails and smokey eyes. I’ll wear my own gold bridal sandals, a vintage gold clutch and cool Maria Black earrings to give the look a bit of edge.
